Do not tell me Islam is a peaceful religion. Do not tell me Islam doesn't practice the part of their holy book that calls for killing "infidels". Islam is inherently evil. Islam wants to kill Christians. Islam and Christianity cannot peacefully coexist. While Christianity teaches us to love those that disagree with us, Islam teaches its followers to kill those who disagree with them.
Don't tell me it is just a few religious fanatics akin to abortion doctor killing Christians. If this is not representative of Islam, where are the clerics calling for our brother's release and condemning his trial? When Christians kill abortion doctors, mainstream christian pastors like myself loudly express outrage. That silence you hear coming out of Islamic mosques is support of the execution of this "infidel".
Islam is not a peaceful religion and teaches its adherents to hate us.
Yet, we must love deeply those adherents. We must pray for their salvation. We must plead with the Lord Jesus that the very judges in this case who will likely order our brother's execution will come to faith in Christ and join us in heaven one day. This is what it means to be in Christ: while our enemies would gladly lay down their lives that we might die, we must gladly lay down our lives that they may live.
Our brother is likely being called on to lay down his life, but his blood will not flow in vain. Jesus Christ will use his blood as the means to bring people from darkness into the light. Jesus will get to raise people from death to life because of this. May it be so.
Pray for our brother, his wife, his two children, and Muslims worldwide as they witness with wonder our brother suffering well to the very end. They will ponder this in their hearts.
