The basketball ministry at Farrington Mission is thriving. Lots of young men from the area are participating and hearing the gospel and being mentored by NEHBC men. Meaningful relationships with gang members are developing. Our men have created a great atmosphere down there in line with NEHBC's vision for making disciples: teaching the Truths of God's Word in an environment of sincere love.
The basketball gym is currently undergoing a major renovation. The ancient, prison yard goals are gone. Quality goals and backboards are going in. An electronic scoreboard system is being installed. The ceiling will soon get a face lift and the floors are going to get redone.
The Lord Jesus is at work in this ministry. Glory to God.
