9am-2pm are the advertised hours, but I've been told people will be there as early as 7am and that some folks will be working there all day.
FM is located at Hwy 59 and Parker on the east side of 59. The location is south of East Mount Houston and north of Tidwell and 610.
Parking is under the Hwy 59 overpass at 59 and Parker.
Food and water will be provided. Bring work gloves, power washers, tools, etc.
We will be painting walls/doors/window frames, power washing, hauling off large debris, knocking out walls, minor repairs, etc.
You are welcome to bring your children, but childcare will not be provided. Originally it was, but now the area where childcare would be provided is being prepped for the crisis pregnancy center.
You are welcome to bring friends, neighbors, and colleagues who want to make a difference in our city by helping people in need and providing the 5th ward with a crisis pregnancy center that is going to save countless lives.
Tomorrow will be hot and we will be in each other's way with 15 different large projects taking place. Please be kind and patient toward one another. People will be watching. Let's make sure our living community of God reflects His glory to the watching neighborhood.
