Food of a Spiritual Kind

Besides the very important decision making for the SBC's future, the 3.5 day convention is designed to feed pastors through sermons. Peer preaching.

I was fed and challenged by this year's sermons. Many were good. Some of the preachers I heard this year: Ken Whitten, Steve Gaines, Andy Stanley, CJ Mahaney, David Platt, Matt Chandler.

Besides the preaching, there are panel discussions where leading pastors discuss current trends in our churches and how they deal with various issues. I especially appreciate the 9Marks' panel discussions.

I was fed, challenged, convicted, encouraged, and inspired.
