Hellfighters Motorcycle Ministry Interest Meeting

I have previously announced on this blog that this Monday night, Hellfighters will be hosting a meeting at NEHBC for anyone interested in starting a north Houston unit. The meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, June 28, and the owner of Hellfighters, Richard Hedrick, will be at the meeting.

You do not have to own a motorcycle or even be a biker to join a Hellfighters unit.

Hellfighters is an evangelistic motorcycle ministry that has become friends of NEHBC. Hellfighter members have visited NEHBC worship services and events on numerous occasions and NEHBC's missions efforts at the Sturgis motorcycle rally in 2009 and 2010 are in partnership with Hellfighters. Headquartered in Mississippi, they have quite a few units across the country and even some overseas. They are a first class organization.

Their relationship with NEHBC has led them to want to start a north Houston unit after recently starting a south Houston unit out of Sagemont Church. NEHBC's Ed Black will be the unit president. While the north Houston unit will be assigned to NEHBC, it isn't a NEHBC owned ministry. Hellfighters owns and operates all of their units.
