I can't believe it's been a year. I wasn't surprised when I found out a 4th was on the way. Surprised is what I felt when we learned the 3rd was on the way. Shocked was what I felt when we discovered Chloe was coming. To be honest, I would never have planned her then, but knowing what it's like to have a 4th in general and Chloe in particular, if we had to do it all over again, I'd want to try for her. Thank you, Lord, for ignoring my selfishness and plans and giving Chloe to us. You truly do know what's best for us. I love her. She has brought so much joy to our family. I've grown personally because of her. My understanding of God has deepened because of her. The chaos and unpredictable home life of four small children is a blast. I love you, Chloe.
