Last night during prayer time in midweek worship we read this passage about the prayer life of a local church and zeroed in on supplication/thanksgiving/intercession for those in high places. We prayed specifically for Houston's Mayor Parker, Texas' Gov Perry, and the USA's President Obama. We gave thanks to God for them and prayed for them. It was awesome.
