my experience at outreach tonight

Tonight my partner was Adam, my new apprentice-pastor, and I had a ball. First we made the two assigned visits to families who have visited NEHBC recently. We struck out both times, but we were prepared with lots of gospel tracts and NEHBC invite cards. So, we spent a good bit of time going door-to-door, something I love. The inner thrill of not knowing what's about to happen when you knock on that door can't be beat. My favorite cold call ended up being with a believer who is serving their local baptist church; however, he is facing tremendous medical challenges and so we got to pray with them for healing in their front yard. It really seemed like a divine appointment.

Calling believers to serve the bride of Christ this morning and sharing the gospel with unbelieving Houstonians tonight. There is nothing more fulfilling than participating in both halves of the Great Commission. Glory to God.
