Thank you to those who prayed for me last night. I feel like the service went well and that the Holy Spirit was at work. It was a great night.
Two things caught my attention last night: 1. Prayer-- there were leaders praying in each section of the worship center an hour before go time. The movement of God last night can be directly attributed to that prayer effort. I really believe that. 2. Exellence--things at TRUTH are done with excellence from the band's practice time to the slides running before the services to the countdown to music playing everwhere before and after to hot cookies and coffee all over the place to cleanliness of the facility to worship service logistics going off without a hitch. This matters--it communicates to the students that TRUTH is important and of great value. It communicates to 1st timers that TRUTH takes ministry seriously. Kudos to those that make excellence happen at TRUTH.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the Lord does next week.
