TRUTH Recap

Last night was week two and I thought it really went well. The planning of the service paid off and I got to have conversations with students afterwards.
But, once again, the thing that struck me most was the role of prayer in the evening. Prior to the worship service, all kinds of people were in the worship center praying. After the service was dismissed, I saw people praying in 1s and 2s and even snapped this shot of a group of students praying in the lobby.

I realize people must pray for their dorm rooms and apartments for TRUTH, but there is something about going to the trouble of driving to location to pray--I don't know if the effort and extra time given to pray on location moves the heart of God or what, but God moves when His people come together to pray. Prayerlessness = powerlessness. Corporate prayer was central to the life of the early church. The movement of God at TRUTH last night was because of the leaders and students that prayed.

Whomever is driving the urgency to pray at/for TRUTH must keep it up. Y'all play the most important role in the ministry.
