Our experience without Nicole continues to unfold. Today's schedule has been eggs and toast for breakfast, cleaning the kitchen for mom's return, bike riding out front, a walk to a local park, and Sunday baths for the older three while Chloe takes her morning nap. Now we are waiting for Chloe to wake up so we can run a quick errand, eat lunch, and hit the afternoon naps. Around which time my nerves will kick in and my adrenaline will start pumping in anticipation of tomorrow, so my brother-in-law and friend is going to take them in order that I can focus on tomorrow morning. I owe him big time.
The last couple of days have been good practice for the 9 days I will keep the kids in October while Nicole obeys God and goes to Greece to help plant a church.
Here's hoping Nicole is getting a good break and is having a great time.
