Meet Jim and Beverly, new friends of NEHBC who are staying in our guest condo for the next three months. They have been living in West Africa for 25 years and are transferring to Western Europe.

They moved into our condo Thursday evening and attended our 10am service today and I got to meet them and enjoy their company when they joined my family for Easter lunch this afternoon. I am very much looking forward to getting to know them better over the next couple of months.
I want to encourage you to take advantage of their stay with us as well. It is a rare privilege to have friends like this staying with one's church family. Invite them for dinner in your home and put your kids around them as much as possible. Ask your small group leader when they are scheduled to meet with y'all--have a gathering for your small group in someone's home and feed the Vaughns Tex Mex or some good Texas BBQ and listen to their stories and ask them questions. Bless them every chance you get during their stay with us--if you bless God's people, God will bless you.
