Today is New Year's Day at NEHBC. It's the start of our new fiscal year and for our staff, the beginning of our new ministry year. The planning of our church life centers on our July-June church year. For example, this month we have our men's ministry annual kickoff breakfast at which the next 12 months of the men's ministry will be rolled out. During the month of July, NEHBCers will be asked to consider their places of service in our church for the next 12 months and on Sunday, August, 1, Get in the Game Sunday, we will make our commitments and begin serving. Our big annual ministry training meetings will be held very soon. The new church budget and ministry budgets start today. So, to all who are plugged in at NEHBC, happy new year, here's to a great 2010-2011!
