Sunday Evening Outreach

Last night NEHBCers went to visit many of the guests who visited our July 4 Freedom Festival. Call us old school, but I'm here to tell you that visiting visitors makes a difference*. RARELY are people perturbed when we visit them. Last night our teams got to share the gospel several times, urge drifting Christians to return to the Lord, pray with folks, and demonstrate the kindness that leads people to Christ. If you want your faith stretched and exhilirating ministry, then come out with us on visitation...when you knock on that door, you never know what's about to happen.

*[Attention church planters: if you are launching a church, here are five mission critical functions to success: 1. corporate prayer 2. preach text driven sermons 3. knock on doors 4. squeaky clean financial system 5. keep your flock in the loop on church happenings. Core values, mission statements, and ministry plans are of some value, but they are not mission critical. Preschool, children's, and teen ministries are important, but not mission critical. If you will pray, preach, knock until you can't walk, be OCD about money management, and keep people abreast, the Lord will move.]
