public profession of faith

If you want your baptism to be a truly public profession of faith, sign up to be baptized a week from Sunday, on March 14, following the 3rd service, so roughly 12:45p
m.

We will be baptizing folks at the Lake Houston YMCA during business hours. That means we have reserved a corner of the pool in which the general public will be swimming and thus watching. You wont know who will be there, but I can assure you there will be a mixture of reactions from onlookers--curiosity, interest, and mocking.

As we discussed this past Sunday, your baptism will communicate to:
--you that you are willing to pay the price to follow Christ
--Christ that He truly is your Lord
--others the salvation Christ brought to you

We will baptize men, women, and children, but men I especially challenge you to step up and be publicly baptized for the glory of God.
