Praise the Lord they found the cause of the stroke. Brandon has a tear in his carotid artery in his neck which caused a blood clot which traveled to his brain which led to a stroke. It is a great thing that they have found the cause of the stroke. Another praise is that he has made marked improvement in his recovery. One item of prayer is that the docs don't know what happened to the blood clot--did his body absorb it or is it still traveling his blood system? Please pray they figure that out.
Sarena is in great spirits. Their four kids were at NEHBC this morning. Please continue to pray for the family and Brandon's full recovery.
Finally, a quick bragging on their small group--Ronnie Wilkens' class has done a great job rallying around the Jenkins during this unexpected time of need. To those in the class--thank you for caring for the Jenkins--what a picture of community. It's at times like this that being involved in a small group really pays off.
