This Summer in Orlando at the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention, Pastor Troy Gramling will be nominated as president of the Pastors' Conference. It should be noted that this position is NOT the same as president of the Southern Baptist Convention. The Pastors' Conference is 1.5 days of preaching and singing that precedes the annual meeting of the convention and is designed to feed, nourish, and encourage pastors.

Nonetheless, it's the president of the pastors' conference who picks the preachers and sets the program for the pastors' conference.

I am interested to see the % of votes received by Pastor Gramling. This video is an example of his ecclesiology and not representative of biblical standards for baptism. To list the number of levels on which this internet baptism is unbiblical would require a lengthy post that I don't have time to write at this time.

I for one am hoping he is not going to run unopposed.
