What a fantastic time of celebration today. God is good. The musicians did a great job with appropriate music, we honored Farrington Baptist Church, we recognized our FM ministry partners, we tool a video tour of FM, and we took a look back at the results of year one. We received a word of exhortation from God's Word out of John 4 where we learned that if we are going to use physical needs ministry to build the Kingdom of God, we: 1. Need a reliable and trustworthy mission 2. Must genuinely love those who come to the mission 3. Must value serving living water over well water by calling everyone we can to confess Jesus as Lord 4. Must understand that if we are faithful with the people who do come to the mission, we can reach many people in the neighborhoods that don't. We also had a FM ministry fair in the lobby with each ministry hosting a booth and served gobs of cake. What a great time we had celebrating the Lord and what He has done. Glory to God.
Love our City.
