This is how we do it at NEHBC--we enlist (Get in the Game Sunday) and train workers in August so we can be all systems go in September when the Fall season, our church year, begins.
This evening we had another long slate of meetings to equip and train people who signed up to serve on Get in the Game Sunday. This evening we trained the hospitality ministries--parking ministry, door greeters, lobby guest hosts, and ushers; the facility maintenance team; and the pastoral care team who does hospital visitation.
Last Sunday we did training for all those that signed up to work in the preschool and children's ministries.
I'm so thankful for everyone who signed up to serve. We don't take your commitment lightly so we want to do everything we can to encourage you, equip you, pray for you, and provide accountability.
