Things Rocking Along @ NEHBC Today

It's funny . . . I can still remember when NEHBC was so small we hardly had anyone coming and going from the building on weekdays. Things were pretty quiet during the week as far as people traffic. Those days disappeared very quickly. Right now in the building, that I know of, there are: people who serve in our preschool ministry setting up for Sunday, people who serve in our children's ministry setting up for Sunday, teachers who serve in our ECC getting ready, folks in various bible study classes getting their classes' decorations moved to their new rooms, teens having fun at Yoof Goof, our church's annual audit is in full swing, a counseling session through our Center for Biblical Counseling is taking place, and our children's ministry curriculum writing team is at work. A beehive of activity. The staff joke that there is rarely a dull moment at NEHBC and they are right. So many sounds that I can hear in the building . . . the sounds of a living community of God dedicated to making disciples. Praise the Lord.
