IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A TWITTER ACCOUNT: I want to encourage you to sign up for an account even if it's just to receive the NEHBC tweets. It costs nothing, requires no effort beyond signing up, and has none of the hassles of Facebook.
Facebook has photo albums, games, comment streams, weird imaginary gifts you can send friends, people's comments and questions to which we feel obligated to respond, etc. Twitter is nothing like that--no albums, no games, no comment streams, no "friends", no questions and comments to respond to. The best way to sum up Twitter is that it is just the "status" function of Facebook, which makes Twitter the perfect way to communicate to a large group--if you can get the group to follow the Twitter account.
You can even very easily download a Twitter application to your pda which means you can get the NEHBC tweets very conveniently.
Simply go to www.twitter.com and set up an account. Then in the "search" box, enter "NEHBC" and our church's profile page will come up. Then click the "follow" button and you will start receiving the NEHBC tweets.
