Farrington Mission Stuff

NEHBC, last Monday night you fed and clothed 46 families in an effort to open the door to call people to confess Jesus as Lord and encourage discouraged believers.

69% of people who come to the mission are Hispanic. We need as many Spanish speaking volunteers as we can get on Mondays from 6-8pm.

When I was at the mission this past Wednesday, I was told by the director of the Pregnancy Medical Clinic that 19 clients had come to the clinic Monday and Tuesday. Awesome.

Thank you for your strong response to the call for more food pantry inventory. Today, lots of people came in with their food bags full. One member showed up with a truck loaded with food. The drop off bin was overflowing. A great start, let's keep it going, we need food inventory to become part of your regular routine.

An interesting tidbit: several folks told us that the cost of buying all the items on the side of the green Farrington Mission food bag is $12. How about we each do that once/month?

Love our City.
