We are having quality time together as a family for which I'm very grateful. Managing four little ones who still can't completely care for themselves is a constant challenge, but it's a season of life out of which we are trying to suck every memory we can because, based on what everyone keeps telling us, it will soon be over. Either in many places people are chuckling over the fast one they're pulling on us or one day we really will miss this season of life. Nicole had an idea where each of the four kids would pick a place they want to go alone with me while she keeps the other three so they can have focused time with daddy. So far we have plans for one putt-putt outing (Colt), two ice-cream outings (Cam and Cass), and Chloe we aren't sure yet--all she keeps saying is "I lu da-ddy"--of course, I'll take that any day. Have I mentioned lately that Nicole is super-mom? Seriously, if I'm ever half the father that she is a mother, I'll be satisfied. The kids and I have no idea what a blessing she is to us. God is good.
Thank you for praying for us while we are spending time together.
