Today, another former pastor requested membership at NEHBC. I've lost track of how many former pastors have joined NEHBC--some retired, some between churches, some very hurt and in need of healing and feeding, and some former pastors who didn't want to do it anymore. I love that the Lord brings them to NEHBC and that they feel at home here. I also feel humbled. Being a pastor to former pastors is not a role I expected to play, but I'm honored.
