the family if I may borrow the bible of the one who died. It is always
surreal to me to page through their bible and I learn a lot about a person
if they were a person who marked up their bible. Paging through their bible
and the marks they've made helps me process their death and also helps me to
prepare for leading their memorial service. I'm paging through Connie
Nichter's bible. One thing is for sure, she loved her bible and her pink
highlighter. Passages that convicted her, encouraged her, and were special
to her at various times are highlighted. It is marked up from Genesis to
Revelation. The pages have the feel of having been turned often. Ms Connie
no doubt had some sweet moments with the Lord.
Her memorial service is this Saturday at 11am. I pray we honor Ms Connie and
exalt the Name of Jesus Christ.
